Medicinal plants have been used for centuries in traditional medicine to treat a variety of ailments. Our lab is interested in investigating the potential therapeutic benefits of these plants, particularly those that are native to Northeast India. By using cell lines and animal models, we can study the effects of these plants on a molecular level, and evaluate their potential for use in modern medicine.

In addition to medicinal plants, our lab is also interested in studying fermented food products. Fermentation is a traditional method of food preservation that has been used for centuries in Northeast India. Fermented foods play an important role in the lives of the tribal communities that consume them. These fermented foods are known to have numerous health benefits, including improved digestion and immune function. Our lab is interested in evaluating the specific biological and pharmacological activity of these foods, and identifying the compounds responsible for their health benefits.

At our lab, we use state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to carry out our research. We have a wide range of cell lines and animal models available for our studies, and we use a variety of method to evaluate the biological and pharmacological activity of natural products. These methods include cell-based assays, animal studies, and biochemical analysis.

Our lab is committed to conducting ethical and responsible research. We adhere to strict protocols for animal care and use, and we ensure that all of our research is conducted in compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.

Our team is composed of experienced researchers with diverse backgrounds in biology, pharmacology, and natural product chemistry. We are passionate about our work, and we strive to make meaningful contributions to the field of natural product research.

If you are interested in learning more about our research, please browse our website or contact us directly. We welcome collaboration and are always looking for new opportunities to work with other researchers in this field.
